FuelCellEurope a key partner for your European Union projects

One of FuelCellEurope objectives is to facilitate and promote cooperation and innovation between its Members. In light of this mission, FuelCellEurope considers as key the opportunities created for its members when participating in European Union (EU) funded projects.

FuelCellEurope places great importance in informing its members about EU funding opportunities.A recent successful example is the informative teleconference held mid July to clarify the JTI Call for Proposals, closing on 15th October and facilitate networking opportunities between interested members.

More importantly, FuelCellEurope is also ideally placed to take part in project with its members and have notably the responsibility for the "dissemination" of the project results.

In the past, various RTD&D programmes were developed by DG Energy and Transport (DG TREN) and the DG Research (DG RTD), offering  concrete opportunities for the fuel cells community.

Very successful projects have been supported by the Commission during FP6 or FP7 : examples amongst the latest are projects like Hyways, Hygears, HyFLEET:CUTE or Roads2Hycom.

With the establishment of the Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking (commonly known as the JTI), these projects and funding opportunities for RTD&D activities are now directly managed by the JTI Programme Office, under the direction of a Governing Board, gathering representatives from the European Commission, the Industry and the Research

Groupings. Besides RTD&D projects, the European Union also offers concrete opportunities for projects disseminating clean technologies fulfilling the EU objectives in terms of renewable energy and energy efficiency.

If you are considering a project proposal for a EU Funded project (including JTI projects) , you may consider FuelCellEurope as a key partner for your consortium and use its  broad –based membership to enhance the dissemination, in particular with Brussels stakeholders  and ensure a succesfull uptake of the project results.

For example, in the recent JTI Call for Proposal 2009, closing on 15th October, the topic “SME promotion: Outreach program”, (under the Cross Cutting issues are; Call ID: SP1-JTI-FCH.2009.5.3) is closely corresponding to FuelCellEurope mission and strategic objectives and is therefore representing a topic where FuelCellEurope could contribute.

Do not hesitate to
